The Achievment in Music Series Keyboard Theory Program
The Achievement in Music series is a theory teaching program designed as a motivational tool for the beginning and intermediate keyboard student and is to be used in conjunction with another instruction method.
The program's object is to reinforce basic theory concepts and skills taught by most methods such as rote teaching of scales and chords, music vocabulary, and rhythm.
Each book contains a chart of theory and performance requirements. As each one is passed off, the student may earn a sticker or color in the dot. Incentive rewards (a.k.a. bribery) can also be provided for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.
The Achievement in Music charts provide a perpetual reference to a student's progress and a wonderful display of his/her accomplishments.
